These are my boyfriend’s favorite beef back ribs!
They really do just fall off the bone and are super easy to make.
First off Beef Back Ribs are those bigger sized ribs. I usually get the Greenwise Ribs when they are on sale at Publix. (Gotta save money anyway you can on this expensive ass rock!)
Ingredients:
- Beef Back Ribs
- Paprika,
- Garlic Salt,
- Cheyenne pepper,
- Oregano,
- Chipotle,
- Olive Oil
Set up your Dry Rub by mixing equal parts of the spices above with about a tablespoon or two of olive oil so it can be used to rub the mix into the ribs.
Once you’re done that just place the meat back in the fridge in a zip lock bag for an hour or two.
Insert Jeopardy theme… Although I’ll usually be running around getting laundry and all kinds of other stuff done.
Preheat the Oven to 250 Degrees Fahrenheit after it’s had some time in the fridge to marinate. Take a cookie sheet and line the bottom with aluminum foil, place the meat evenly spaced on the sheet, take another sheet of aluminum foil and use it to make a cover over the meat so the steam doesn’t escape. I just take the edges of both sheets of the aluminum foil and roll them into each other.
Once you know the steam’s not going to escape, put it in the oven for 3 1/2 to 4 hours at 250 degrees.
Feel free to check it at 3 1/2 hours, no big deal if it needs to cook longer, working with low heat after all.
Once it’s fully cooked, Drain the juices, put some BBQ sauce on it (I prefer Sweet Baby Ray’s Sweet and Spicy) and cook it under the broiler until the sauce is getting sticky but not burnt. I may have set off the smoke detectors once making this so be mindful of that aluminum foil being close too the broiler.
Once it’s all finished you’ll have a great meal!
